Your Day at the Beach
Charankako Bay’s private beach is a stretch of Caribbean coastline in West Bay, sheltered by natural ironshore formations and bordered by mangrove forest. It is the kind of beach day that feels a world away from everything.

What is Included
Every Day Pass ($25 per person) gives you full access to the beach and facilities for the day:
Beach chair
Your own plastic lounge chair to set up in the sun or shade
Outdoor showers
Public rinse-off showers
Restrooms
Clean facilities available in both the upper and lower areas of the property
Beach access
From opening to close (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Good to Know
- Umbrellas are not available on-site. Bring a hat or your own shade.
- Bring your own towel and beachwear.
- Water shoes are recommended for the ironshore areas.

Food and Drinks
Food and snacks are available for purchase on-site.
Accessibility
The beach area is accessible by wheelchair. Restrooms in the beach section are wide enough for wheelchair entry. There are no ramps into the ocean.

Beyond the Beach
Your Day Pass gives you access to the full property. From the beach, you can:
- Walk the Bosque Enano wooden walkways through mangrove forest and ironshore
- Add a Honduras Circa 1950 cultural tour on the upper property
- Rent kayaks or snorkeling gear to explore the bay
- Book a horseback ride along the shore and through the forest
Parking
Two parking areas are available: one at the top of the mountain by the road to West Bay, and a second next to the beach area at the bottom. See Parking for details.
